Ziad Sarrouh leads Global Films’ Saudi Arabia operations and serves as the company’s Regional Executive Producer, overseeing cross-border productions between Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Lebanon. His role ensures creative consistency and operational alignment across the network’s international shoots.
In 2002, Ziad founded X-Stream Productions, the first advertising film production company in the Kingdom, at a time when commercial production infrastructure was virtually nonexistent. By recruiting and training local crews,
he established a full-scale operation in Jeddah, quickly enabling large-scale TV commercials to be shot locally.
A pioneer in using 35mm film in Saudi advertising, Ziad played a key role in iconic campaigns for STC and Toyota, helping position Jeddah as a regional production hub.
He went on to serve as Head of TV Production for Toyota Motor Corporation / Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) for seven years, managing major shoots across Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Ukraine, South Africa, and Morocco.
Ziad is known for his ability to unite regional and international teams under one production vision — delivering seamless workflows and world-class results across TV, film, and digital platforms.
